There's a lot I could say about an album like this, which may not hit you over the head immediately, but will grow on you with subsequent listens. I am a musician myself, not a pro reviewer, but I can say that I know what I like, even if it be far from whatever genre is mine, and this one has to get a 'thumb's up' for the solid lyrics, great vocal performance, as a thing that comes across as emotionally honest. What else to say? Would love to see more like this. So, yep, thumb's up!
